PGH Guardian Black Armoured Polo Boots
PGH Guardian Armoured Polo Boots are the most performance-focused design in this collection. Made in classic black leather, these tall riding boots feature an integrated protective outer panel with multiple raised sections positioned along the lower leg.
Please note: Once an order is placed, a PGH's team member will be contacting you to provide you with a boot
measurement guide and form. Once measurements are provided delivery of boots can take up to 2 – 4 weeks.
Unlike conventional smooth-shaft polo boots, the Guardian design incorporates additional structure into the boot itself. The reinforced-looking outer-leg panel creates a distinctive technical appearance while providing an additional physical layer over an area that can be exposed during demanding equestrian activity.
A full-length zipper allows the tall boot to be opened more easily, while the braided leather zipper pull adds a handcrafted finishing detail. At the top, an adjustable leather strap with brass-colored buckle provides both visual character and additional adjustment.
The result is a boot that looks unmistakably equestrian but has a much more contemporary, protective and performance-oriented identity.
Key features: Black leather construction; integrated outer-leg protective panel; raised segmented guard design; tall polo/riding profile; full-length zipper; braided leather zipper pull; adjustable upper strap; brass-colored buckle; structured low riding heel; reinforced-looking lower-leg construction.
Why choose this design?
Traditional polo players often combine boots with separate knee or leg protection. The Guardian takes a different design approach by incorporating substantial protective styling directly into the boot. This gives the pair a cleaner, purpose-built appearance and makes it particularly attractive to players who prefer equipment with a strong performance aesthetic.
The all-black finish also makes the substantial construction relatively understated from a distance while allowing the guard detailing to become visible up close.
